Gateway Authentication

Gateway Authentication is a user authentication option that is supplied with the system. When activated, users who have originally connected and signed on to a separate Gateway Server system and then been routed through to this system using the Gateway Programming API or Gateway Portal are automatically authenticated – the users’ security details (userid, all roles, credentials and authorizations) are copied from the source Gateway Server system.

This option cannot be configured on Verj.io Gateway Servers.

Gateway Authentication is configured on the User Authentication page of the Server Admin App.
